Hi — I’m Paul. I’m a software developer, a Christian, and a dad of eight kids, from preschoolers to teenagers. Faith Family Showdown started with a problem every parent knows: a house full of people I love, each staring at a different screen.
I wanted one screen everybody looked at together — something with the light-up-the-board energy of the survey game shows we grew up on, but built around the Bible and safe for every age in the room. So I built it: survey-style questions on the TV, teams shouting answers, strikes and steals and a final-round bonus, and a short Christ-centered reflection after every round.
Every question pack, sound effect, and scoreboard in the game has been play-tested (loudly) at our own family game nights. The kids are ruthless beta testers — if a question is confusing or a round drags, it gets rewritten before it ships. What you’re playing is the version our family kept asking to play again.
Today the game runs family nights, youth groups, and church fellowship halls: play solo against the Bot on one screen, or host a team-vs-team party where the board lives on the TV and captains join from their phones. The core game is free, there are no ads and no tracking, and nobody needs an account to play.
